Immediately Available: HR Consultant – South West – c£700 per day

We are pleased to be working with an experienced Interim HR Director who brings significant senior-level experience across both private and public sector environments. Based in the South West, this candidate is available immediately and flexible to consider opportunities at a target rate of c£700 per day.

With a strong track record in HR transformation and strategic business partnering, they’ve led large-scale change programmes and advised senior stakeholders in organisations with workforces of up to 12,000 employees globally. Their broad experience includes organisational design, performance improvement, workforce planning, and cultural change – always delivered with a commercial mindset and a strong focus on outcomes.

Throughout their career, they’ve been repeatedly engaged by clients to deliver complex people projects – from restructuring and cost reduction programmes, to engagement and leadership development initiatives. Examples of tangible results include a 20% headcount reduction through organisational design, £500k saved in absence management, 15% reductions in both overtime and agency usage, and improvements in employee engagement.

This candidate is particularly skilled at stakeholder mapping and operational readiness for change projects, with sector experience spanning nuclear, transport, telecoms, entertainment, and healthcare. They’ve successfully led projects covering HRIS implementation, global mobility, TUPE transitions, HR audit and compliance, and talent frameworks – often stepping into roles where quick impact and trusted advice are required.

They are confident working with executive teams to align people strategies with business needs, and have a proven ability to turn complex HR challenges into practical solutions.
