HR Assistant – London – £30k+
We’re currently supporting a highly capable HR Assistant who is open to new opportunities in London and surrounding areas, with a target salary of £30k+.
With a strong grounding in HR administration, recruitment, and employee relations, this candidate brings experience across several sectors.
In their most recent role, they support a busy HR function and have taken ownership of several key responsibilities. Notably, they led the review and change of several external providers, and in turn reduced the company’s employment costs.
This commercial awareness is matched by their attention to detail, as seen in their careful maintenance of HRIS records and support across recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
They are confident managing low-level ER cases from start to finish and provide reliable administrative support on more complex matters, drafting outcome letters, taking minutes, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Their earlier role within the public sector further highlights their practical approach. Here, they introduced new recruitment systems and procedures that saved the organisation significantly in external fees, while also enhancing the onboarding experience for new starters.
They have early career experience within agency recruitment, giving them a strong understanding of candidate pipelines, stakeholder management, and the pace of commercial hiring. They have worked directly with hiring managers, developed candidate sourcing strategies, and maintained accurate market data, all skills that now serve them well in internal HR settings.
Technically strong, they are comfortable using a range of systems, including HRIS, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office. They are also confident communicators with experience liaising with internal teams, external partners, and trustees. Their educational background includes a degree in Business Management, with relevant modules in HR.
