Location: London | Northern Home Counties
Salary: c. £80,000 – £90,000
This candidate is a credible and collaborative Head of HR, bringing a wealth of experience from a global, fast-paced commercial setting through to an early-stage start-up. With a passion for people, they have effectively operated both standalone and within high-performing HR business partnering teams, overseeing large, multi-locational teams and engaging with executive and C-suite leaders.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds a Master’s degree with Distinction in HR Management and a Level 5 CIPD qualification.
- Proven track record of developing and managing teams, having successfully led teams to achieve operational excellence within a range of sectors.
- Experience working at executive and board levels, where they have set and driven people strategy, led a range of projects, and contributed to organisational growth.
- Demonstrated leadership during organisational changes, managing redundancy and TUPE processes with minimal complications.
Skills and Expertise:
- Expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive HR agendas, partnering with C-suite executives to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Successful implementation of talent management and acquisition strategies, resulting in a significant increase in workforce size while maintaining an impressive retention rate of over 90%.
- Strong decision-making capabilities, leveraging data analytics to inform HR strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and adapt through change, ensuring business resilience in challenging environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for influencing stakeholders at all levels, building trusted relationships, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
