Head of HR – Immediately Available
Proven Impact Across Complex, Global Environments
We’re currently working with an impressive Head of HR who is immediately available and open to both interim and permanent opportunities. With experience spanning Financial Services, Investment Banking, Professional Services, Legal, Tech and Education, this candidate brings a rare combination of strategic expertise, commercial awareness, and delivery capability at pace.
With a career shaped by roles in FTSE businesses, global matrix organisations and high-growth firms, they’ve led HR functions through significant change, growth and transformation. Their ability to build credibility with senior leaders and shape commercially aligned people strategies sets them apart. This is someone who doesn’t just understand business goals—they help deliver them.
They’ve successfully led both generalist HR teams and specialist functions, with particular strength in organisational design, talent strategy, employee experience and global resourcing. Notably, they have delivered complex OD programmes across international locations, including setting up Shared Services and offshoring functions in India and Europe—achieving measurable improvements in cost and structure efficiency.
In previous roles, they’ve built and led Talent Acquisition teams ranging from small in-house functions to large-scale global teams handling up to 7,000 hires a year. Their approach is both data-driven and inclusive, with consistent results in reducing agency spend (up to £6m saved), improving quality of hire, and increasing representation across underrepresented groups.
As a People leader, they’ve designed and implemented full career development frameworks, introduced new performance management systems, and championed leadership development—always aligned to business strategy. Their recent work includes introducing internal mobility frameworks and leadership coaching programmes that supported internal progression and succession planning across several geographies.
Employee engagement and culture transformation have also been a strong focus. At one organisation, they improved engagement scores by 5% in 12 months during a period of intense change, while also increasing participation rates by 10%.
They also bring in-depth experience in DEI strategy, having led and embedded initiatives that resulted in a 15% increase in women in leadership roles, and doubled the rate of female promotions to MD level. This is someone who understands the value of inclusion and brings a proven track record of using data and insight to drive sustainable change.
With deep Workday HRIS knowledge, international experience across EMEA, US and APAC, and a style that balances strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, this is a high-impact HR leader ready to add value from day one.
If you’re looking for a commercially astute and delivery-focused Head of HR who can lead through change, enhance your people strategy, and build high-performing teams, this candidate is worth a conversation.
