We are currently supporting a Senior HR Business Partner with over 20 years’ experience in complex, international, sales-driven organisations. You get a commercially focused HR leader who operates well under pressure and delivers clear outcomes in fast-moving environments.
They are exploring senior HR Business Partner roles across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, and the East Midlands, on an interim or permanent basis.
Their background sits within matrix organisations across EMEA and globally. They partner senior commercial leaders and balance growth, cost control, and people risk with confidence. Strong employment law knowledge underpins practical, business-led advice.
Most recently, they operated as a Global HR Business Partner supporting a large, multi-country commercial population. Working at executive level, they shaped and delivered a global people plan aligned to commercial goals.
Key deliverables included:
- Redesign of global job architecture, improving role clarity, pay benchmarking, and organisational agility
- Global review of variable compensation, improving fairness, transparency, and forecasting accuracy
Previously, they held regional responsibility for the largest EMEA market, partnering a VP through growth and transformation. They led and developed a team of HR Business Partners, strengthening capability across the function.
Their work included:
- HR leadership on complex structural change, including legal entity redesign
- Delivery of multi-million-euro cost savings at a global level
- Design and delivery of a targeted cost optimisation programme, managing sensitive headcount reductions with care
- Post-acquisition harmonisation of terms and benefits for over 1,000 employees
They also bring deep international experience across Southern Europe, acting as lead adviser on all people matters. This included Works Council management, complex election processes, and people risk linked to change and divestment. Their impact led to rapid progression and formal leadership recognition.
Earlier career experience includes industrial relations, unionised environments, regulated sectors, and large site-based operations. They have led HR teams through shared services transitions, delivered employment cost savings, implemented HR systems, and strengthened governance. Experience also includes HR leadership within education.
Alongside operational delivery, they are a skilled leadership coach with a strong interest in learning and talent development. They are completing an advanced executive coaching qualification and have designed leadership programmes, onboarding frameworks, and practical change tools used across regions.
