Chief People Officer | London | c200k
We’re currently working with an outstanding Chief People Officer who is exploring new opportunities in London and the surrounding area. Open to both interim and permanent roles, this candidate brings over 20 years of HR leadership experience across global, complex organisations in Financial Services, Media, and Advertising and Marketing.
Operating at the C-suite and senior executive level for the past two decades, they have led international people strategies, built and restructured HR functions, and delivered against demanding commercial goals. Their recent roles have included full responsibility for the people agenda within global businesses, including matrixed structures and multi-brand environments.
This candidate’s background combines strategic insight with operational delivery. They have successfully introduced in-house talent acquisition teams, modernised reward and benefits programmes, implemented wellbeing and mental health initiatives, and driven diversity and inclusion agendas. Their ability to deliver change and bring structure to high-growth or fast-evolving organisations stands out.
In one previous role, they oversaw the people function across a professional services group, reducing staff turnover by 15% and cutting external recruitment fees by 25% in the first year alone. Their approach focused on aligning people strategy to business goals, driving consistency across brands, and building strong relationships with individual CEOs and leadership teams.
They’ve worked through major periods of transformation, including mergers, disposals, and business realignments. Their calm, confident style brings stability during change, and they’re trusted to support complex restructures and organisation-wide initiatives. Governance, compliance, and pension oversight are also part of their skillset, with trustee experience and a strong understanding of HR risk and regulation.
Commercially minded and people-focused, they are known for building high-performing HR teams, developing future HR leaders, and influencing senior stakeholders with clarity and authority. Their ability to manage both global scale and local nuance makes them well-suited to multi-site or multi-region operations.
Now seeking their next challenge, this individual is available for roles at a base salary of around £200k, depending on scope and package. They bring credibility, proven delivery, and the experience needed to support businesses through growth, transformation, or consolidation.

Our Terms of Business
We believe in transparent and competitive pricing. That’s why we offer a fixed-fee structure: £2,995 for UK assignments and €3,495 for EU-based roles. There are no ongoing fees, hidden costs, or surprises—just a straightforward introduction fee.
The Interim HR Network is a modern approach to connecting immediately available HR professionals with potential employers. By focusing solely on targeted introductions, rather than managing the full recruitment lifecycle, we can offer a highly competitive fee arrangement.
And if you decide to extend the contract or transition to a permanent hire? No problem—the fee stays the same.
