Head of HR – NW and Flex to travel across UK
We’re pleased to introduce a highly credible Head of HR who brings both strategic acumen. Commercially focused and delivery-driven, this senior HR professional has successfully shaped and executed people strategies across the UK, ROI, and EMEA. With a strong track record of partnering with CEOs and Boards, they know how to align HR with business priorities and lead HR functions through growth, change, and complexity.
Their most recent role saw them operating at Group Head of HR level, leading HR across nine legal entities in the UK and mainland Europe. Reporting to the CEO and sitting at the board level, they have developed people strategies that support growth, improve engagement, and drive business performance. They’ve led a small but effective HR and Talent team, introduced scalable processes, and built a high-performing HR function that delivers across recruitment, L&D, ER, reward, and compliance.
Their career spans both large enterprises and fast-growing SMEs. In a recent Head of HR position within a dynamic eCommerce business, they worked closely with the CEO and founders to support rapid expansion and internationalisation. They built the HR function from the ground up—implementing an HRIS, designing a new benefits strategy, introducing competency frameworks, and embedding strong performance management processes. This ability to scale HR operations while maintaining culture and pace makes them well-suited to organisations going through growth or change.
Earlier in their career, they held a respected leadership role within a public sector institution, where they delivered a full HR service during a period of high visibility and organisational transition. In previous posts, they’ve led global mobility programmes, overseen complex ER cases, and driven key projects around wellbeing, engagement, and compliance across multi-site international environments.
Professionally qualified and committed to lifelong learning, they are currently completing an MSc in HRM and hold a CIPD Level 7/Post Grad Award in Employment Law. They are also Prince2 qualified and on track to achieve Chartered CIPD status in 2025.
This is a strategic, resilient, and credible HR leader with the versatility to work in both interim and permanent roles. They are open to opportunities where they can make a meaningful impact—whether supporting change, stabilising HR operations, or stepping in at a senior level to lead transformation.

Our Terms of Business
We believe in transparent and competitive pricing. That’s why we offer a fixed-fee structure: £2,995 for UK assignments and €3,495 for EU-based roles. There are no ongoing fees, hidden costs, or surprises—just a straightforward introduction fee.
The Interim HR Network is a modern approach to connecting immediately available HR professionals with potential employers. By focusing solely on targeted introductions, rather than managing the full recruitment lifecycle, we can offer a highly competitive fee arrangement.
And if you decide to extend the contract or transition to a permanent hire? No problem—the fee stays the same.
