Interim HR Director – UK Wide – Immediately Available
We’re currently supporting an experienced and commercially minded Interim HR Director who is immediately available for their next assignment. With a strong track record in cultural transformation, organisational change, and strategic people partnering, they bring a calm and pragmatic approach to complex HR challenges.
This candidate has operated at senior levels across a wide range of sectors, including higher education, pharmaceuticals, technology, FMCG, manufacturing, media, and the public sector. They are confident advising Boards, coaching senior leaders, and delivering results in fast-paced, change-heavy environments.
Their recent work has included leading UK and international restructures, managing both voluntary and compulsory redundancy programmes, and overseeing complex TUPE transfers. They have a strong grounding in employment relations, with extensive experience in managing high-risk cases and mitigating tribunal exposure.
Alongside their ER expertise, this candidate has delivered several performance and engagement initiatives. These include introducing new HR systems, launching employee forums, implementing structured performance review processes, and developing succession and talent strategies to support longer-term growth.
They are equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves in hands-on situations or stepping back to provide strategic oversight. Their mix of public and private sector experience gives them a broad perspective, and they are known for building trust quickly and working in partnership with stakeholders at all levels.
This Interim HR Director is available to work on a flexible basis across the UK, either onsite or hybrid, and is particularly well suited to organisations undergoing change or in need of immediate senior HR leadership.
